Born on December 13, 1971, in Lancaster, South Carolina, he was the beloved son of James Lloyd Taylor Sr. and Betty Jean Enos. William moved to St. Augustine in 1981, where he would go on to become an integral part of the community. A graduate of St. Augustine High School, William pursued a degree in accounting at Daytona State College. But beyond his education, William was known for his warm personality and his love for connecting with others. He was a true "people person," always ready with a smile and a story. His charm and easygoing nature made him a favorite among his friends, family, and even strangers he met along the way. For 15 years, William managed a Domino's Pizza, where he was beloved by his coworkers and customers alike. He later worked at Walmart in the tire and lube center for 10 years before embracing a new adventure as an Uber driver. This job allowed him to meet and interact with countless people, something he relished, as he was always eager to make new friends and share stories. William was a passionate animal lover, especially fond of his dog Dobbie, a miniature pinscher who was his loyal companion. He had a special place in his heart for all animals, and his care and compassion were evident to anyone who knew him. His love for life extended to his many hobbies, which included watching sci-fi movies and immersing himself in the world of Star Wars. Above all, William cherished his family, and spending time with them was one of his greatest joys. He is survived by his father, James Lloyd Taylor Sr., and his brother, James Lloyd Taylor Jr., who will always hold him in their hearts. William was a charmer, an adventurer, and a true ladies' man. His infectious energy, sense of humor, and genuine kindness will be missed by all who knew him. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched and the love he gave to those around him. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a local animal shelter in his memory.
