Tracy Lynn Wright

In Loving Memory of Tracy Lynn Wright, age 53, passed away on May 12, 2024, at her home in St. Augustine. Tracy was a true daughter of St. Augustine, born and raised in the heart of the city. She attended St. Augustine High School, where her vibrant spirit and warm personality left a lasting impression on all who knew her. At the tender age of 17, Tracy embraced the journey of marriage and motherhood, welcoming her first child, her son, into the world. She approached life with an infectious optimism, earning her reputation as someone who was always happy and carefree. In her younger years, Tracy managed a beloved local establishment, Schooners, for six years. Later, she transitioned to insurance sales and employment with UPS, demonstrating her versatility and work ethic. However, Tracy's greatest joy and fulfillment came from her family. She started her second family and was a devoted mother who cherished every moment spent with her two beautiful daughters. Whether it was leisurely afternoons at the park, joyous rides in the little red wagon, or quiet strolls around the block. Known for her selflessness and compassionate nature, Tracy always prioritized the needs of others above her own. She had a special love for babies and found immense joy in caring for them. In honoring Tracy's memory, let us carry forward her legacy of compassion and selflessness, embodying the values she held dear. She is survived by her son, Joshua Owens; daughters, Kami Lynn and Kayla Ann Wright; parents, Bruce Robert and Glenda Wright; siblings, Barbara Butler (Richard) and Robbie Kirkland (Angela), nieces and nephews, Ryan, Phillip, Anthony, Lisa, Little Rob, Aaron, KJ, Blake, Brittany, Robert, Casey and Hope and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Kirk Kirkland and Magoo Wright. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 pm on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Evergreen Cemetery with Dr. Clarence Blalock officiating. A visitation will precede the service from 11-12 noon at St. Johns Family Funeral Home. May Tracy rest in eternal peace, knowing that she was deeply loved and will never be forgotten. St. Johns Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
