Patricia "Polly" Wiliams

Patricia Ann "Polly" Williams, 79, of Hastings, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026, at the Bailey Center for Caring surrounded by the love of her family. Polly was born on January 7, 1947, in LaFayette, Georgia, to her loving parents, James and Charlsie Huggins, who preceded her in death. In 1972, she moved to St. Augustine, where she built a life centered on family, hard work, and community. For many years, Polly worked as a waitress at Shiver's BBQ, where she was known for her warm smile and kind spirit. In 1989, she married the love of her life, William Liles "Bill" Williams Jr. Together they built a life rooted in dedication and service, owning and operating St. Augustine Service, Inc., pest control until their retirement. Bill preceded her in death on May 19, 2023. Polly was a devoted mother and grandmother whose greatest joy was her family. She leaves behind her loving children: Carol Kanost (Wes) of Macclenny, Darlene Delaney (Richard) of St. Augustine, Bobby Lingold (Sara) of St. Augustine and Trey Williams of Hastings. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Jonathan, Ricky, William, and Hannah. A memorial service honoring Polly's life will be held on Saturday April, 18, 2026, at 10:00 am at St. Johns Family Funeral home in St. Augustine, with a private internment at San Lorenzo Cemetery to follow. Polly will be remembered for her strong spirit, her generous heart, and the deep love she had for those around her. Her presence brought comfort, laughter, and strength to her family and friends, and her memory will be cherished by all who knew her. Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds peace in knowing she is reunited with her beloved husband, Bill, and the loved ones who went before her. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at St. Johns Family Funeral Home in St. Augustine. A celebration of her life will take place at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow at San Lorenzo Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Polly's memory to Community Hospice & Palliative Care.
