Nellarhea Frampton

Valedictorian, Clerk at Red Jacket Coal Corp, Hernshaw School Secretary (& Substitute Teacher), Cake Decorator, Adult Education Teacher, Choir Leader, Musician (Piano, Organ, Bass, Accordion, & Guitar), Church Treasurer, Church Janitor, Care Giver, & Administrative Assistant is what Nellarhea S. Frampton, 92, was known for but, her best titles were Wife, Daughter, Mom, Mom-Maw, & Great Grandma. Nella went on to be with her precious husband Denver Sidney Frampton, Sr on August 25th, 2024, just two days shy of their 69th wedding anniversary. Nella had lots of family that had gone before her: Ernest & Fannie Stallard (her mom & dad) Denver Sidney Frampton, Sr (her precious husband) Curtis Drew Stallard (her brother) JD Stallard (her brother) Margie Lou Sowards (her sister) Denver Sidney Frampton, Jr (her son) David Kent Frampton (her grandson) Donald Clark (her son in law) When talking to the chaplain recently, she said, “They’re mine!!” when he read names of those listed on her wall to remind her of how much she was loved! Those who are left to continue her legacy are: Jeannie Clark, Patrick, Justin, Nathan, Julie, Jordan, & Tyler David (Susan) Frampton, Ryan, Rachel, Ezra, & Eli Kelli (Herb) McKinney, Sydney (Jacob), & David Beverly Frampton, Jonathon, Becky, & Daniel She was also loved by the following: Jerrell Stallard Carol Hugh Stallard Josh, Caleb, Herbie, Perry, Alicia, & Monica Her favorite bible verses were Matthew 6:19-21 (Store up your treasures in heaven) & Ecclesiastes 9:10 (whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might) and she lived by both of those. She loved to sing “My Thanks to Him” when singing solo. When she hit that chorus of “Oh He is more than all the world to me”, you could feel the meaning of what and who she was singing about! Her favorite song to listen to was “Midnight Cry” knowing that someday, her goal was to meet her precious Savior Jesus. She always gave of herself helping others throughout her life. She made the best hot dog chili around Marmet (and her chili was sold on hot dogs for many years!), made the best pecan pies & homemade bread that sold before it even made it to the church hot dog sales when people heard that she was making it, the best peanut butter fudge, and for all the holidays, the best peanut butter eggs, hearts, etc. but, they had to be decorated with flowers, names, etc. because that became the best that your hands could find to do. She always had a smile & loved to laugh because she said that laughter doeth good like a medicine (Proverbs17:22). She was a prayer warrior that you heard praying in the living room and always talked about and sang about her Jesus. She always asked the grandkids, “Are you being good?” but, she made you cut your own switch from the tree! She knew how to make you mind. She made the best homemade pizza and mashy eggs! She never had a favorite color but loved them all! She loved to travel with Kelli. Sydney, & David and had a wonderful time with each adventure. She enjoyed her first flight with them loved seeing the clouds up close. A virtual memorial service will be done in the future to remember her. She wanted her body donated to science for others to learn from so that has successfully been done.
