Maura Katherine Rosser

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Mary Katherine (Maura) Rosser, who left this world on August 23, 2023, at the age of 95. She is reunited with Cliff her dear husband of 50 years and God in Heaven. Maura was born on January 24, 1928, in Pontypridd, Wales. She lived a life filled with love, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to her family and community. Maura is survived by her 6 sons Paul, John (Linda Hughes), Anthony (Missy Baptiste), David (Jean Rosser), Peter (Jennifer Rosser), and Stephen (Terri Rosser), her 11 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandsons. The family was at the core of Maura's being. She dedicated her life to raising her 6 sons, showering them with endless love and support. Maura's unwavering love and guidance shaped their lives and instilled in them the values that they hold dear to this day Beyond her role as a devoted mother, Maura was an active member of her community. She was deeply involved in St. Anastasia's Catholic Church and dearly enjoyed being a Eucharistic Minister. Maura was also involved in a bereavement group after Cliff's passing and she was an active member of the Red Hats Society A celebration of Maura's life will be held on October 6th, 2023, at 9:00 AM at St. Anastasia's Church in St. Augustine where friends and family will come together to honor her memory and celebrate the incredible woman she was. After the Funeral Mass, a Memorial gathering will be held at Sister Enda's Hall on the Church grounds from 10:30 to 12:30 where we can share stories of her incredible life. Food and refreshments will be served.
