Glenn Richard Luisi

Glenn Richard Luisi, 69 formerly of Banner Elk, North Carolina passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Bailey Family Center for Caring on Tuesday, August 18, 2020. Glenn was born in Stratford, Ct on July 21, 1951 to the late Constantino and Virginia Luisi. Glenn never met a stranger; he was a loving and devoted husband for 35 years, father of 2 sons and friend to many. He was best known for his saying “Blessed to have, Blessed to Share” which he lived by every day of his life. Glenn was an accountant for 35 years, he owned Glenn R. Luisi Accounting PA which will continue on through his son in South Florida and North Carolina. He enjoyed boating, skiing, hiking and traveling. He was a member of Faith Harbor United Methodist Church in Surf City, NC where he was proud to be a part of the praise band and played acoustic guitar. Glenn always placed others before himself and his door was always open. Glenn is preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Anthony Angelastro; fur baby, Duchess. Glenn is survived by his wife of 35 years, Teresa Luisi; sons and daughters in law, Glenn R. Luisi II (Megan), Alexander R. Luisi (Kayla); grandchildren, Harper Grace and Holden Wyatt; siblings, Linda Luisi and Gary Luisi(Doreen); brother in law and sister in law, Paul Angelastro and Donna Siravo(Paul); nieces and nephews, Paul, Brooke, Robert Anthony "Robby"(Mayeling), Annabella, Sophia, Joseph, and Nicholas; a host of great nieces and nephews; many incredible church family and friends who will miss him dearly. Glenn is also survived by his faithful fur baby, Gracie. A celebration of Glenn's life will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Faith Harbor United Methodist Church, 14201 NC-50, Surf City, NC 28445 with Pastor David King officiating. In keeping with the CDC Coronavirus guidelines every attendee must wear a mask and the number of attendees may be restricted. We ask that if you are at high risk, feeling ill, or traveling from an area with a high level of infection, please do not attend the service.
