Frank F Pamies Jr.

Frank “Butch” F. Pamies, Jr passed peacefully from this life on Tuesday October 26, 2021 at the home of his daughter and son-in-law Michelle and Francis Colee in St. Augustine, Florida with the help of Haven Hospice. Frank had been diagnosed with cancer eight years ago but outlasted that expectation and fought a brave battle while enjoying his family and friends until God called him home. Frank was born May 10, 1941, in St. Augustine, Florida to Frank F. and Mildred (Moore) Pamies. He was raised in St. Augustine, having attended Cathedral Parish Schools, and graduating from St Joseph Academy in 1960. For most of his career, Frank worked for the Wise Potato Chips company in St. Augustine Florida, through its purchase by Borden Inc. He was also known for owning several gas stations in St Augustine. After his retirement, he worked with Bulls-Hit Ranch to develop and market Bulls Chips Potato Chips. Frank enjoyed spending his time fishing, taking trips to the mountains, golfing, and going to Disney World with his family. He was a member of Cathedral Parish and was a faithful Catholic having served beginning in his childhood as an altar boy. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and past member of the Elks Lodge in St. Augustine Florida. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Shirley Ann Pamies, daughter Cheryl Pamies Blalock, granddaughter Samantha Silvers, and his brother Reginald Pamies. Survivors include Michelle & Francis Colee (daughter), Pamela & Steven Vescovi (daughter), Francesca “Frankie” Stevens (daughter), Karol Diane Howe (daughter), Judy & James Greenmun (sister), Gary & Pat Pamies (brother), and Vicky Price (sister); Five grandsons, William Michael Blalock Jr & Melinda Fox, Francisco “Robbie” Stevens, Kenneth “Junior” Stevens Jr, Allistair Frank Pamies, and Raistlin Francis Colee; Seven granddaughters, Kirsten Stevens, Brittany Stevens & Mike Reno, Monica & Clayton Meadows, Chelsea Childres, Destiny Jewell, Lacey Owen Hayes, and Kristina Short; Twelve great grandchildren Xander Meadows, Cason Meadows, Lilly Meadows, Alaina Jackson, Ember Reno, Joey Reno, Shayne Page, Logan Dammann, Daisy Dammann, Sophie Fox, Kylie Fox, and Jamie Fox. There will be a Viewing and Visitation held at St Johns Family Funeral Home on Friday October 29, 2021, from 5:00-7:00 PM. The Funeral will be held at St Johns Family Funeral Home on Saturday October 30, 2021, at 11:00 AM, led by Father Mac Hill. Burial at San Lorenzo Cemetery will follow the funeral service.
