Denise Diane Davis

Denise Davis, born on March 26, 1961, to John Davis and Betty Cameron, passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 63. Denise was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who touched the lives of all who knew her. Denise was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan, and raised in Belleville, Michigan, where she spent her early years by the shores of Lake Michigan. After graduating from Farwell High, she moved to Florida, where she made her home for the past 39 years. She spent 8 years in Volusia County before settling in Putnam County, where she resided for the past 31 years. Known for her warmth, kindness, and selflessness, Denise found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her love of camping brought her even closer to those she loved, creating lifelong memories. Denise was also an animal lover and always had a soft spot for cats, providing them with a safe and loving home. In her free time, Denise enjoyed socializing with friends at the Eagles Club in Pomona Park, where she found companionship and joy in the company of others. Denise’s parents, John and Betty Davis, preceded her in death, but her loving spirit continues to live on through her family and friends. Denise was a proud and loving mother to her daughter, Kristyn Finan, and a devoted grandmother to Kristyn’s three children: Kyleigh Nicole Finan (21), Ashlyn Leigh Finan (19), and Tyler John Finan (17). Her family meant the world to her, and she cherished every moment spent with them. She is also survived by her twin brother, Denis Davis, and his son, Cameron Davis (her nephew), as well as her sisters Debby Hull and her husband Art Hull, and Doreen Browning and her husband Hagan Browning. Doreen’s children, Kellee Jo Ferrari, along with her husband Andy Ferrari, their son, and Denise's great-nephew, Davis Ferrari and nephew Cameron Browning were also a special part of her life. A memorial service to celebrate Denise’s life will be held at the Eagles Club in Pomona Park, Florida. The date of the memorial will be announced at a later time. Denise will be dearly missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
