Toinette Petrice "Honey" Boyd

Toinette Petrice “Honey” Boyd, age 69, of Palm Coast, died on March 31, 2022, at Stuart Meyer Hospice. She was born to Joseph Logan and Ola Mae Boyd on October 28, 1953 in St. Augustine, FL. She graduated from Murray High School and then moved to Miami, FL where she lived most her adult life. She raised a family of four children and worked for UPS for more than 25 years, retiring as a supervisor in 1996. She moved back to Palm Coast in 2009 to live closer to her family. She enjoyed eating out at restaurants, sewing, and working with ceramics. Honey, as she was affectionately called, was known for her big heart and generosity. She would give the last of what she had to anyone in need. More than anything she loved her family and was always very active in the lives of her children. She was a woman of deep faith and was a longtime member of Calvary Christian Center in Ormond Beach for many years. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Honey is survived by her children, Eric Charles of Miami, Latwi Charles of Palm Coast, Lynette Lyons of Lithonia, Georgia; her sister, Denise Crooms of Hastings, FL; her brother Bill Logan of Saint Augustine, FL; 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and sorrowful friends. Private services will be held. St. Johns Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
