Thomas “Tommy” Costanzo Jr., 49 passed away on 4/24/2022 at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. Tommy was born in Norwalk, Connecticut to Thomas Costanzo Sr. and Susan Haig Thivierge. Tommy attended Briggs High School in Norwalk, Ct. Following high school Tommy became a plumber for 33 yrs. He also became a dad in 1992 and a grandfather in 2015. He enjoyed spending time with his daughter and grandson. Growing up Tommy loved boxing, wrestling, and hanging out with his friends whom he loved. He loved music and hanging at the beach. He loved going on the boat with his little brother to whom he also taught the plumbing business. He loved seafood, muscle cars, and making people laugh with his funny stories and jokes. Tommy moved to Florida in February 2020 where he joined his wife, Kellyann. Prior to Tommy’s relocation to Florida, Tommy and Kelly would spend hours on the phone every day. During one of these conversations, as Kelly was praying for Tommy, the power of the Holy Spirit hit Tommy and knocked him down. He knew at that point he had to get to Florida. That’s the place when major transformation happened in his life. Tommy and Kelly co-owned a small retail business in which he took a lot of pride. This is the time where Tommy pursued seeking the Lord. Tommy was very excited to start missions work. He loves Jesus! He wanted to share Jesus with everyone because of his major life change and he wanted everyone to know it. Tommy is survived by his wife Kellyann Costanzo, daughters; Heather Costanzo and grandson Jamison both of Stafford, Virginia, Katelynn DeClementi, Alyssa DeClementi, and Sophia Norton from the Jacksonville, Florida area. He is also survived by his dad, Thomas Costanzo Sr. of St. Augustine and siblings Lenda Costanzo of Norwalk, Ct, Jessica Costanzo of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Joey Thivierge, Bryan Thivierge (Jamie) from Norwalk Ct., Jeannine Thomas (Mike) from Brandon FL and Barbara Thivierge from New Haven Ct., along with a host of nieces and nephews Tommy was preceded in death by his mom, Susan Thivierge, twin sons Anthony and Dominic Costanzo and nephew Matthew Costanzo. A viewing and visitation will be held at St Johns Family Funeral Home on Saturday April 30, 2022, at 3:00 PM followed by a funeral at 4:00 PM.
