Sandra Ethel Ardovini
June 28, 1944 - January 21, 2022
Sandra Ethel Ardovini (Rosenberg) also known as "Sandy or Ethel" was born on June 28, 1944. She passed away peacefully on January 21, 2022 in St. Augustine, Florida. After spending much of her childhood in Washington, DC, her family moved to Wheaton, MD where she attended Wheaton High School. She raised her family in Aspen Hill and the Rockville area of Montgomery County, Maryland. Sandy lived her life as a wife and mother of four while working at Rubin's Carpets and Interiors. Sandy’s passion in life was watching her children play sports, and she even coached a little softball and basketball. She was the ultimate sports Mom. When she wasn't cheering for her kids, she loved her hometown NFL team, the Washington Redskins. Some of Sandy's other favorite things included enjoying her sweets (she couldn't go a day without chocolate and ice cream), her pets, reading, the beach, and her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard ”Sonny” and Rhoda Rosenberg and her loving husband, Ernesto Ardovini. Sandy is survived by her sons, Craig Trupo (his wife-Lena), Gary Trupo (Debi Freed), and daughters, Erin Trupo Kraft (Brian Shrader), and Jodi Trupo Yates (her husband-Keith), grandchildren: Sean, Misha, Brian, Charlie, Sophie, Grant, Quinn, Chad and Brady, and her siblings: Jeanne Morton, Geri Ungurean, and David Rosenberg. Her life celebration will be announced at a later date. St Johns Family Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
