Rosalie Ann Carlo

Rosalie Ann Carlo passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Baptist Medical Center South. Rosalie was born on May 26, 1937, in Schuyler County Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents Elaine Rose Heaton and Loren Heaton along with her two brothers: Roderick, and Larry Heaton. Rosalie was the wife of 51 years to Arthur Carlo, of St. Augustine Florida. Rosalie was a dedicated mother to 4 children, Vanessa, Mitchell, Valerie, and Michael, 7 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren Rosalie fought Dementia for 4 years, and although fully vaccinated, she passed from complications of Covid 19. Being very sensitive to the Covid 19 restrictions and social distancing, we will have a small private gathering. Cascades residents have always been a compassionate and caring community, and for this we am very grateful. Rosalie established the Stephen Ministry Program and was the Team Leader. God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be. He put his arms around you, and whispered "come to me, and walk with me." With tearful eyes we watched you and saw your pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating. Hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
