Robert "Bob" Lowell Williams

September 23, 1943 - March 21, 2022

Robert “Bob” Lowell Williams, age 78, of St Augustine passed away March 21st, 2022, at the Bailey Family Center for Caring in St Augustine. He was born in Atlanta, GA on September 23rd, 1943, to James and Lois Pearson Williams. He grew up in Atlanta, GA where he attended high school and then Berry College in Atlanta. On July 13th, 1965, he married Susan Cooper Davis in Atlanta, GA. He owned a manufacturer rep agency in Orlando, FL for many years before establishing a career in real estate in the Tampa area. He worked as a real estate agent and mortgage broker out of Dunedin for 30 years before moving to St Augustine for retirement. Bob loved fishing, family, and vacationing in the mountains. But his true passion was for flying. He was a flight instructor for several years and taught aerobatics. Bob and Susan enjoyed island hopping while exploring the Caribbean by plane. He enjoyed the freedom of flying and was able to take to the sky for his last flight over St Augustine on his birthday last year. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, three children and three grandchildren. Amy of St Augustine, John (Gail) of St Augustine and David (Michelle) of Altamonte Springs. Three grandchildren, Andrew, Christina and Breya. He is also survived by 2 sisters, Barbara Ellis of Atlanta, GA and Marilyn Miller of Augusta, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family thanks the Bailey Family Center for Caring staff members for their kindness and excellent care of Bob during his final time with us.
