Raymond Joseph Meurer Jr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

I am heartbroken to announce the death of our father, Raymond J Meuer, Jr. He passed away peacefully at the age of 87, surrounded by his family. Raymond really enjoyed Sports and the outdoors, he loved Judo, Wrestling, Baseball, Golf, and watching sports of all kinds but most of all he was an avid Deep Sea Sport Fishing Enthusiast. Influenced by his father, who was an attorney engaged in The RKO Radio Shows, Sergeant Preston of The Yukon, and The Original Black and White version of The Green Hornet, being in his youth at about the age of 17 he naturally had aspirations of being in the Entertainment Industry, he managed to get some bit parts in The Lone Ranger Tv Series and worked as a sound man Technician on many of those first episodes, he also was assigned to providing transportation services to some of Paramount Studios Talent, many of which he drove the studio Lots with eventually became some of The Famous Actors of that era and of our Time. At the bequest and the advice of his father Raymond left California and returned to Detroit to complete his education where he met our mother, Patricia Ann Palmer. Raymond was a graduate of the University of Michigan and acquired an additional 3 years of Law School at The University of Detroit. He was a business owner in The Commercial Glass Industry, a Licensed Realtor, Created One of the first Tax Shelters utilizing Charlotte Cattle and held a seat on the New York Stock Exchange. In The Fall of 1983 He worked with George Trendle, Creator of The Lone Ranger and the Green Hornet, to negotiate and solidify the First of many Agreements for what was later The 2010 Sony Production of The First Full-Length Feature Film of The Green Hornet. He leaves behind three Lovely Children, Lisa, Linda, and Tony, 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
