Michael Anthony Walton

December 8, 1948 - April 28, 2022

Michael “Tony” Walton, 73, of Palm Coast, FL, formerly of Aurora, IN moved on to his heavenly home on Thursday, April 28, 2022 with his wife Rosalie by his side. Tony was born on Wednesday, December 8, 1948, the son of the late Robert B. Walton and Giovanna (Glorioso) Walton Leslie. Tony was a 1967 graduate of Aurora High School. He spent his working years as a Superintendent in residential and commercial construction and made many friends along the way. In 2008, he retired and spent his time with his family, his friends and studying the Bible. In 2019, Tony and Rosalie moved to Florida to enjoy the warm weather, beautiful sunrises and life near the beach. He had a passionate love for God, his family and his country. He leaves behind his wife Rosalie Walton of 46 years, 3 children, Melissa Walton, Beth Casto and Nicholas (Nancy) Walton, as well as 2 stepsons, Spencer Spaulding and Todd (Christie) Spaulding. He was grandfather to 13 and great grandfather to 8. He also leaves behind one brother Robert (Brenda) Walton. He has been reunited in heaven with his father Robert, mother Giovanna and infant son Joshua. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at St. Johns Family Funeral Home with Ps. Greg Peters officiating. A visitation will precede the service from 10-11am. He will be laid to rest at San Lorenzo Cemetery also in St. Augustine, FL.
