Laura Maxine Hunter, age 42, of Wimauma, Florida, died unexpectedly while visiting at her mother’s residence in St. Augustine, on April 16, 2022. Born in Dayton, Ohio, Laura moved to Florida at a young age. She attended Cocoa High School and did a variety of jobs before working in housecleaning for many years. Laura loved her pets, gardening, reading and watching movies, but more than anything, she loved her family. She will be deeply missed. She is survived by her daughter, Kylieann M. Smith and her husband Kevin of Hastings, FL; sons, Lyle William Hunter, Jr. of St. Augustine and William Alexander Jones, Jr. of Keystone Heights; and her mother, JoAnn Borcher of St. Augustine. Services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, April, 21, 2022 at St. Johns Family Funeral Home with Pastor John Fletcher officiating. Interment will follow at Craig Memorial Park. A visiteation will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Wednesday at St. Johns Family Funeral Home. St. Johns Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
