Ken Green

Ken Green, age 80 of Saint Augustine Florida passed away on March 28, 2022 at Flagler Hospital. He lived in Barton Maryland for over 32 years then moved to Merritt Island, Florida in 1973 and relocated to Saint Augustine in 1979. He worked for Ponce de Leon resort and the Castillo de San Marcos and on Saturday mornings hosted a radio talk show called Lifeline on WFOy. Ken lived a life of service to others. He was vice president of St. Johns County Right to Life, Florida Right to Life, Full Gospel Businessman Association, Marketplace Ministries and Alpha Omega House. He volunteered for over 10 years at Council On Aging and was a deacon and greeter at Ancient City Baptist Church for over 20 years. Ken loved his family and friends with his whole heart and he will be deeply missed. He is survived by his sisters, Joan Francis of Easton, MD, Janice Johnson of St. Augustine and Christa Vinci of LaVale, MD, many nieces, nephews and many many beloved friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent “James and Lola Green; his brothers, Jack Green and Ron Green and sister, Beverly Hall. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 1, 2022 at Ancient City Baptist Church with Pastor Fred Pitts officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11 am preceding the service. St. Johns Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
