January 3, 1947 - May 5, 2022
Joanne G (Kramer) Horvath, 75, passed away suddenly in her home in St. Augustine Florida on May 5, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Kramer and Deloris (Venditto) Kramer of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Joanne spent more than 54 years as the loving wife of James T. Horvath. Together they raised three daughters; Lisa married to Scott Remaley of Schnecksville, PA who are the parents of their first grandchild Jordan of Sanford Florida, Gina married to Christopher Licini of New Tripoli, PA with the first granddaughter Beth Pierce of Slatington, PA, and Tina wife of Shane Frey from Allentown, PA and their three daughters, Shayna, Taylor, and Kaylee. Joanne is survived by her brother Joseph Kramer and his wife Cindy of Bethlehem. Joanne wore many different hats throughout her life. She graduated high school from Bethlehem Catholic at the same time graduating from Empire Beauty School. She went from making people feel and look beautiful, to feeding their hunger as a cook at Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown PA, to enriching the lives of young people at Harrison Morton Middle School as a para-professional, then managing to leave her mark in the restaurant industry as a leader for a Long John Silvers/Arby's franchisee. When retirement time came, she knew where she wanted to be. Sunny Florida. Her family packed her home and off they went. She did not stop working, she found an amazing little boutique on St George Street and dove right in, how else could she continue to meet new people if she didn't. The time finally came to slow down and enjoy life. Bingo and card games were her favorites, she also learned to play darts and canasta. So, a Celebration of Life in both Pennsylvania and Florida is the only possible way to say goodbye to this amazing woman. The family will reach out to all those who loved her to let them know when it will be. St Johns Family Funeral Home & Crematory in St Augustine, Florida is in charge of arrangements.
