JoAnn Drasher

June 4, 1939 - February 11, 2022

JoAnn H. Drasher, 82, passed away Friday, February 11, 2022, at Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine, FL. She was born June 4, 1939, in Lebanon, Pennsylvania to Chester and Gladys (Shay) Harmes. Her granddaughter Amanda writes, “We will be sending JoAnn off to be with her son Keith in heaven. We ask that you please be discreet as this is a very sensitive moment we will be sharing. Sometimes you will never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory… We ask that we make new memories from our memories….and to continue to share them with friends and loved ones… I will have Buttercup with me at the pier so feel free to bring your loved ones big and small as we gather and share.” Anyone familiar with JoAnn knew she loved working with kids, so family and friends getting together to honor her life where she worked so many years…. Vilano Video (way back when) and The Missing Children Alert Program seems a fitting location. JoAnn is survived by her brother, Chester Harmes; granddaughter, Amanda Star Fulton and grandson, Justin Keith Drasher. She was preceded in death by her parents, and son Keith Drasher. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, March 6, 2022, at 12:00 PM EST at the Vilano Beach Pier, located at 260 Vilano Rd, St. Augustine, FL 32084. We will be gathering to share some of our favorite memories, our stories, to laugh, to cry, and to remember a very special vibrant women who is greatly missed. We will be having a drink (of any kind) on the back deck at Aunt Kates, 612 Euclid Ave, St. Augustine, FL 32084 after sharing in Remembrance of JoAnn. Please join us if you feel moved to do so.
