George Wayne Lloyd Jr Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

George Wayne Lloyd, Jr., 47 of St. Augustine, passed away December 11, 2021 at Flagler Hospital. He was born and raised in Jacksonville, where he graduated from Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. For 20 years he worked as an auto body mechanic. He started his auto mechanic career at Cruiser Dave’s, then went to work for Cheshire’s and most recently working at Ray’s Auto Collision. He also worked as a food runner and in the Raw Bar at The Oasis in St. Augustine. George was an artist and loved drawing. He was a real genuine guy with a big heart. Everybody loved George, he was a very loyal friend. He loved his dogs and more than anything loved his family. He is survived by his spouse of 18 years, Carrie Kiser; son, Marley Callum Lloyd; sisters, Jennifer Brown and Stephanie Brown; mother, Sara Jean Gross; his in laws, Lindsay and Marie Varner; sister and brother in laws, Terri, Nathaniel, Autumn, Luke, Cash and Gerogie; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, George Wayne Lloyd Sr. and step father, Dale Gross. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-6 pm on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at St. Johns Family Funeral Home. St. Johns Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
