Frances Alfreda "Frankie" Townsend

Frances A. “Frankie” Townsend, 72, St. Augustine, passed away peacefully at her home with her children at her side. She was born in Richmond, California, daughter of the late James and Flossie Flynn. She had worked in real estate sales with the Villages of Seloy Adult Community. Frankie was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. A prayer service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday March 3, 2021 at St. Johns Family Funeral Home with Deacon Dan Murphy officiating. A time of visitation with the family will continue following the service until 3:00 p.m. Flowers are gratefully declined and those wishing may make a contribution in her memory to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network at Pancreatic Cancer Action Network – Research, Patient Support, Resources (pancan.org) She is survived by three children, Martin Blair Townsend(Mary), St. Johns, FL; Angela Townsend Sarnac (Stewart), Ft. Myers, FL, Beth Marie Griffin(John), Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Madeline Brooke Sarnac, Ella Marie Sarnac, Martin Colin Townsend, Frances Claire Townsend, Riley Carson Townsend, and Tyler Young Griffin. St. Johns Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
