Dink Sharkey White

February 15, 1953 - April 22, 2022

Dink White, age 69, passed away Friday afternoon on April 22nd 2022 in St. Augustine, Florida. Dink had recently celebrated her 20th wedding anniversary to her adoring husband, Gary White. She was the absolute best mother to her two daughters, Crystal and Katie and the most loving, supporting, and proud Gammy to her two grandchildren, Conner and Parker. Dink loved interacting with people and made it her profession owning and managing a variety of gift stores and even an ice cream shop! All those who knew Dink, knew her as a strong woman who could overcome any obstacle that life threw her way. She was dedicated to loving with her whole heart and making sure her “people”, as she called them, knew that she was always there for them. Her laugh was infectious, her goofy side admirable, and her heart as sincere and loving as they come. She has joined her Mother and Father, Ede and Dan Sharkey, two brothers, Bob and Jim Sharkey, and her dearest friend Patty Keene in heaven and is celebrating with all of the loved ones who greeted her there. Dink will always be remembered as a loving wife to her husband, Gary, a wonderful mother to her daughters, Crystal Craig and Katie Milillo and her husband Mike, a beloved Gammy to her grandchildren, Conner and Parker and the many bonus grandchildren who were lucky enough to call her Gammy. She will be remembered as a wild, but beautiful sister to John Sharkey and his wife Bina and a special aunt to Nila and her husband Ray, as well as her Aunt Helen, and her cousins Lynelle, Clay, Ede, and Curtis. There will be a celebration of life on Tuesday, May 3rd for family and friends. Join us any time between 5:30-7:30pm on the White Room Rooftop for laughs, hugs, and lots of love. Casual attire just as Dink would prefer. Memorial donations may be made to Wolfson Children’s Hospital, a place near and dear to our family’s hearts.
