Brian "Rocky" Cale

March 5, 1977 - April 15, 2021

With saddened hearts we announce the passing of Brian “Rocky” Cale, 44, of Palatka, Florida. Rocky was born on March 5, 1977 to the late Carolyn Lewis and George Truitt Cale. He passed away unexpectedly on April 15, 2021. Rocky moved to Florida at the young age of 13. He resided at Rodeheaver Boys Ranch for most of his teen years and attended Palatka High School. Rocky graduated and joined the Army. He was a proud US Army War Veteran serving in Kuwait and Iraq. He received the National Defense Service Metal, Global War on Terrorism Service Metal and the Army Service Metal. After his service to our country, he was employed by various businesses within the Putnam county area. He enjoyed riding his 4 wheeler, mudding, fishing, collecting guns, grilling out and sitting by the fire pit listening to Gold Rush every Saturday evening. Rocky loved most of all spending time with his punkin, Briley, and sharing every moment making her laugh. Rocky is preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Carolyn and Calvin Lewis, father, George Cale and many aunts, uncles, and grandparents. Rocky is survived by his sister, Sonya Baumgart (Donnie);brother, Christopher Cale(Amanda); daughter, Briley Cale; nephew, Jayden Della Morte; niece, Hailey Cale; step-siblings, Wanda Cooper (Terry), Ralph Lewis, Junior Lewis (Janice), Roy Lewis (Robin); Aunts, Fay Gill(Roger), Mary O’Hare, Teresa Roper(Steve), Dale Benton(Linda), Doris McDaniel; step-son, Cory Meritt; mother of his child, Cynthia Terrell; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and many many dear friends who will miss him dearly. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. St. Johns Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
