Ann Beach

July 12, 1930 - September 3, 2021

Ann Beach, of St. Augustine, FL., passed peacefully into the arms of her lord September 3rd, 2021 at Bailey Family Center for Caring of St. Augustine. Born in Wilton, NY to Paul and Anna (Mihalak) Kavicky on July 12th, 1930, she was raised in Kings Station, NY. She lived most of her life in Saratoga Springs NY, where she raised her family and worked as a nursing assistant. Ann worked at Saratoga Hospital and most recently for the St. John Neumann residence for retired priests. She only stopped working because the residence closed, working until she was almost eighty! Ann truly had a servant’s heart and would do anything for anyone in need. Ann’s life revolved around her church and family. She was a long-time member of St. Clements Catholic Church in Saratoga Springs where she was active in the Ladies of Charity and she volunteered saying the Rosary with the residents of Wesley Nursing Home. She moved to St. Augustine in 2016 to be with her family. She most recently was a resident at Allegro. Ann was loved by her family, church and community and will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene E. Beach, her parents, Paul and Anna Kavicky, her brother John Kavicky, and her sister Eleanor Young. She is survived by her son, Eugene E. Beach (Hilarie), granddaughter, Margot Downie (Brandon) and the loves of her life great granddaughters Gillian and Genevieve Downie. She is also survived by two special nieces Montra Kearney (Pat) and Gail Palmer and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Due to the pandemic, services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Clements Church or Saratoga Miss Softball or the charity of one’s choice. St. Johns Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
