Andrew ‘Richard’ Silvay, 85, of St. Augustine FL, peacefully passed away on December 8, 2021. Born in Bayonne, NJ, to Andrew and Winifred, Richard graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1959 and served four years in the United States Air Force. After graduation, he worked as a mechanical engineer for United Technologies for 31 years. Richard was predeceased by mother, Winifred; father, Andrew; brother, Jim; and sister, Ellen. A wonderful husband and father, he is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Jennifer; sons, Scott (Kim), Kenneth (Laura), and Michael (Lorelei); daughter, Courtney; and eight grandchildren. Services will be held at St. Johns Family Funeral Home on Sunday, December 12 at 2pm.
