After high school, he served his country in the U.S. Navy for four years where he was an electronics specialist. Upon graduating from Jersey City State College, Al became a highly regarded teacher, elementary then moving to high school educating in all aspects of industrial arts. Al retired from the North Bergen, NJ school district with 25 years of service. Al enjoyed boating, fishing and cooking. Al was a master crafts man; he designed and constructed a home at the Jersey Shore from foundation to custom cabinetry! Al is survived by his true love and wife of 54 years, Suzanne Mary Heintz, nieces Carol Pariente (Antonio), Mary Lippi, and Karen Goska, as well as, many other extended family members and friends.
