Warren Lee Forney

Warren Lee Forney, a beloved husband, devoted family member, and compassionate soul, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2026, after a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. Born on July 13, 1941, in Canton, Ohio, Warren was the son of John Vernon Forney and Mary Opal Jenkins. He was the youngest of four children, with siblings Jean (deceased), John (deceased), and Judith. Warren graduated from Fort Lauderdale High School in 1959 before embarking on a life full of learning and service. Warren lived a life filled with both adventure and warmth. He and his beloved wife, Norma (deceased), shared 44 wonderful years of marriage, traveling the world together as flight attendants. In his early adulthood, Warren served as a minister, following his deep faith and his degree in theology from Central Bible College. He later earned a master's degree in psychology from Florida Atlantic University. Warren was a man of many talents and passions. He was a master gardener, a teacher, a Guardian Ad Litem, a talented carpenter and woodworker, a wonderful cook, and a true animal lover. Later in life, Warren and Norma developed a passion for philanthropy and contributed to many charities. He is survived by his sister, Judith; his nephew, David, and David's wife, Deborah; his nieces, Jeanette, Judy Lynn, Beverly and husband Rene, Cynthia and husband Patrick, and Linda and her child Noah; and the loving family of his predeceased brother, John, and his children Suzi, Thrisha, Elisa, John Jr., Desiree, Ryan, Kara, and Kayley, who were also a cherished part of Warren's life. Warren's life is a testament to the power of compassion, lifelong learning, and service to others. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
