Treva Clair Lindsay Wilson

Treva Clair Lindsay Wilson, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 13, 2024, at the Community Hospice George and Margaret Morris Center for Caring in Jacksonville, Florida. She was 70 years old. Born in Ft. Benning, Georgia, Treva moved to Mandarin, Florida as a baby and later graduated from Wolfson High School in 1972. As an adult, she made St. Augustine her home, where she became an integral part of the community. Treva’s warm spirit and kind heart touched many lives. She was predeceased by her parents, Darrell and Joyce Lindsay, as well as her brother, Rudy Lindsay. Treva is survived by her daughter, Priscilla Roberts and her husband, Chuck Roberts; granddaughters, - Heather Taylor and her husband Austin Taylor, Hannah Trapp and her husband Riley Trapp, Hallie Roberts; a great-grandson, Reid Trapp; a sister Evelyn Greshake and her husband Ronny Greshake; a sister-in-law, Donna Cole; a nephew, Curtis Greshake; a niece - Samantha Lindsay; a great-niece - Reba Lindsay; and a great-great nephew, Rudy Cole Lindsay. A devoted member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie 4256 for 25 years, Treva was also a valued volunteer for the Canteen at Sons of Amvets Post 45 and the Lady Auxiliary Post 45. Through her work at the canteen, she offered comfort and assistance to countless people, always ready to lend a helping hand. Treva had a deep passion for the Georgia Bulldogs, and she found joy in cheering on her favorite team. She loved spending time with her granddaughters and great-grandson, reading a good mystery, shopping for antiques and thrift store treasures, and going on getaways with her sister and daughter. Treva’s time spent with her friends at the club was always cherished, as she formed lasting connections that brought her much happiness. A memorial service to celebrate Treva’s life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 3, 2024, at St. Johns Family Funeral Home in St. Augustine.
