Richard Edwin Booth Jr. Born October 23, 1977 Entered our Heavenly Kingdom June 21, 2026 Richard, 48 owner of RB Tree Rescourses was born and raised in St. Augustine, FL his whole life. He is predeceased by his father Richard E. Booth Sr., his paternal grandparents Francis and Sadie Booth, his maternal grandparents Jerry and Marie Schmedes as well as his aunt Georgia A. White. Richard is survived by his mother Linda R. Green, his daddy whom raised him Warren D. Green, his sister Deanna L. Hunter, his brothers Jonathan W. Green (Stephanie), Warren D. Green Jr. (Delores), his 5 children Richard Evan Booth Sr., Ryan C. Booth, Emily K. Booth, Brantley E.I. Booth and Colton L. Booth. His grandchildren Richard E. Booth Jr., Scarlett J. Booth, and Lainey Grace Booth (arriving in September). The mother's of his children, Zenja Booth and Stacee Doss, as well as many nieces, nephews, and lots of cousins as he was native to St. Augustine. Richard had a passion for the outdoors whether it be fishing, hunting, or cooking on the grill. He loved spending Saturday's watching Florida Gator Football and Nascar on Saturday's and Sunday's. Richard had the biggest heart you could imagine as he was a protector of his loved ones and loved his children, grandchildren and family dearly. Even if it wasn't his child he would treat you as if you were family, especially Lanaila McKenzie. Richard was a believer in Christ our Savior and would give you the shirt off his back or his last piece of bread. He worked for Asplundh for many years before starting his own tree business after the birth of his first child. Richard will be truly missed by many with his jokes and singing along to old country music songs but he will never be forgotten. He wasn't a myth but a true solider and legend. He was famous in a small town and his smile and laugh will never be forgotten. Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Johns Family Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Wildwood Cemetery will take place immediately following the service. Don't forget to wear your Gator shirt or Gator hat and show #RichardBoothStrong as we lay him to rest. Chomp Chomp!
