Lynn Ernest Haslauer

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lynn Ernest Haslauer, 79 of Ponte Vedra Bch Florida on Feb. 08, 2025. Lynn was a loving father, devoted military veteran, and courageous patriot. Lynn was born on April 16th, 1945, in Oneida New York, he was the son of Joseph and Ardith Haslauer. A graduate of Oneida HS in 1965. Lynn’s passion for Aviation and his country led him to Florida where he graduated from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in 1968 as an Airframe and Powerplant technician. Lynn dedicated much of his life to serving his country. As a proud veteran, Lynn served honorably in the Navy, Army, National Guard and Air Force Reserves. He served as Crew Chief on the UH-1’s in the 199th Medevac Company and 125th Fighter Wing completing multiple tours of duty, including a significant deployment to Iraq. His unwavering commitment to duty, resilience in the face of adversity, and sacrifice for the greater good left an indelible mark on those who served with him and loved him. Lynn was a member of the American Legion and VFW. Lynn was the proud father of four children who were the joy of his life. His profound love for his family was evident in everything he did, and he worked tirelessly to provide for and protect them. He will be remembered as a steadfast protector both in his military service and as a father. Lynn leaves behind his four children Vicki (Keith) Atkins, Joseph Haslauer, Shane Haslauer, Amanda (Stanton) Mills, five grandchildren, Kayleigh, Payton, Ethan, Trey, Kyndal and his girlfriend of 15 years Dale Manolis, two sisters, Karen (Dan) Borgan and Jean (Mark) Halstead. He is proceeded in death by his parents, one brother Joseph Richard Haslauer Jr in 1966 and one sister Karlene Hoffman in 1997. Services will be held March 2nd, 2025, at 2:00pm at The American Legion Post 129, 1151 S 4th St, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250 with full military honors.
