Kathryn Marie Repult

On Thursday, September 25th, 2025, surrounded by her family, Kathryn Marie Repult, passed away unexpectedly. Kathryn was born in Leavenworth, Kansas, on February 25th, 1945 to Leon Herman Littleton and Kathryn Rose Wilkinson. As a child, she moved to Jacksonville, Florida, where she grew up across the river from the Jacksonville Zoo. She often recalled listening to the lions roar during the early morning hours and every evening without fail. She attended The Bolles School, a private college preparatory school, for her elementary and middle school years. Kathryn was a Majorette and a cheerleader, both of which she thoroughly enjoyed. She later graduated from Andrew Jackson High School on June 4th, 1963. Throughout Kathryn's life, she held various jobs. In her younger years, she nannied and babysat for several families. However, for the majority of her life, she ran her own cleaning company, which she operated until her passing. She had a few long-term clients whom she was genuinely thankful for; she considered them family as she cared for them, and in return, they took care of her. They were incredibly loyal and patient with her, especially as she faced some health challenges in recent months while also caring for her late husband until his passing. They were always very understanding and truly cared about her. Kathryn spoke very highly of her clients and cherished their friendship. Kathryn met the love of her life, Robert (Buddy) Roy Repult Jr, in Jacksonville, Florida, at Lake Forest in 1969 at a drive-thru. Kathryn Vividly remembers that Robert was in a yellow car with a black stripe. She said he looked like he was driving a bumblebee. From that moment on, he wouldn’t leave her alone; it was love at first sight, and he knew he had to make her his. Eager to start their lives together, they got married the following year on November 5th, 1970. This November, they would have celebrated 55 years of marriage. As true and pure as a love story can be, Robert passed away on August 25th, 2025, and he called Kathryn to join him exactly one month later. They were truly an inspiring example of what true love and friendship look like. Kathryn was a proud mother of five wonderful children: Greg (Carol), Tammy (Jerry), Robert III (Linda), Bryan (Marlena), and Heather (Joseph). Her love for her children was profound, and she often shared stories about them. She took great pride in them. Kathryn's main request to her children was to "always be there for each other and love one another." Kathryn was blessed with many grandchildren: Erica, Robert (Chrissy), Justin, Bryanne (Peyton), Whitney (Greg), Brandon (Amber), Katie (Brandon), Sarah (Colton), Brooke (Tyler), Alyssa (Colby), Allison, and Hunter. Great-grandchildren: Robert, Annaka, Kynleigh, Bryton, Brant, Angelina, Bryson, Isabella, Emilia, Branson, Kingston, James, Ryleigh, Winsley, and Sawyer. Kathryn was also blessed with bonus grand and great-grandchildren: Ronnie Whitfield (Danielle)- Destinee, Rissa; James Looney (Jenny)- JD. One of Kathryn's favorite things to do was cook. She especially loved to cook for her family. Her grand and great-grandchildren all believed her macaroni and cheese, homemade ranch, and twice-baked potatoes were second to none. There was never a meal that was less than perfect from her kitchen. Each dish she created was a true labor of love. She found happiness in the smiles her food brought to her family's faces. Whether you called Kathryn by her first name, Kathy, Mom, or Nanny she was truly one of a kind. She was a woman who always spoke her mind and loved with all her heart. There will never be another like her. She always had your back, she loved her family fiercely, and always put their needs before her own. This often resulted in her feelings being hurt from time to time. However, there was never a time, no matter the circumstances, that she wouldn’t be there for you if you needed her. Even if it was just to talk on the phone while you walked to your car late at night. Kathryn will be missed beyond measure. Kathryn was preceded in death by both her father and mother, her loving husband Robert, and her most loyal four leg companion, Monkey. Kathryn is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. There will be a celebration of life at a later date to celebrate both Kathryn and her husband, Robert. In lieu of flowers, Kathryn’s family asks that you spend as much time as you can with your family. Take that phone call and make time for the people you care about. Time is precious and not promised.
