Kassi Lorraine Pierce

Kassi Lorraine Pierce, 29, and her beloved son, Elias Mavryk Savage, 3, both of St. Augustine, Florida, passed away together on Friday, August 29, 2025, as a result of an automobile accident. Kassi devoted her life to caring for others, working for many years as a nanny. She had a natural gift with children and poured her love and energy into raising her own sons, who were the light of her life. Her warmth, humor, and kindness touched all who knew her. Sunflowers—her favorite—perfectly reflected the brightness she brought to the world. Elias was a joyful and imaginative child who adored Spider-Man and playing with his brother. He had a heart full of love and laughter with the touch of an angel. Though his time here was far too short, he brought immense happiness to his family and everyone he encountered. Kassi is survived by her husband, Shane Savage; their son, Baxlee Trenten Savage; her sisters, Alicia Pierce, Jazmin Spinks, Jessica Smith, and Tiffani Stone; her brother, Blake Simms; her parents, Deanna and Stacey Simms, and Trent and Robin Pierce; her grandparents, Lessie Lorriane Speight, James and Patricia Glover, Melvin Simms, and Nancy Pierce; her aunts, uncles, and many loving cousins. Elias is also survived by his father, Shane Savage; his brother, Baxlee Trenten Savage; his grandparents, Deanna and Stacey Simms, Trent and Robin Pierce, and Larry and Faith Jones; his great-grandparents, Lessie Lorriane Speight, James and Patricia Glover, Melvin Simms, Nancy Pierce, and Roy and Kathy Berry; his aunts, uncles, and many loving cousins. A Memorial Service to celebrate the lives of Kassi and Elias will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at St. Johns Family Funeral Home in St. Augustine.
