In Loving Memory of Judith (Judy) Dunn Rogers September 21, 1945 – April 6, 2026 “80 years young” Judith (Judy) Dunn Rogers, 80, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2026, in St. Augustine, Florida, with her loving husband, Aubrey, and son, Michael, by her side. Judy was born on September 21, 1945, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to Oliver and Virginia Dunn. She grew up surrounded by family and faith, values she carried throughout her life. Judy dedicated thirty years of service to AT&T, where she worked diligently as a clerk until her retirement. During her tenure there she made lasting friendships through her kindness and humor. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Virginia Dunn, and her brothers, Tom and Buddy Dunn. Judy is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Aubrey Lee Rogers Jr.; her children, Michael Rogers (Cathy) and Crystal Rogers Charlton (Donnie); as well as her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Rita and Jay Dunn, along with a beloved nephew and several nieces. Her husband, Aubrey, shares these words from his heart: “My heart was broken and my life was shattered on April 6, 2026, when my loving wife, Judy, passed away. We were married for 50 years, three months, and six days. I have always been desperately in love with this woman. With her kind heart, poise, and grace, she made me a better man. I do not remember a morning when I woke up that I did not give her a kiss and tell her how beautiful she was and how much I loved her. To know Judy was to absolutely love her. She was always thinking of others, sometimes to a fault, and made everyone around her feel comfortable and welcome. It would be foolish for me to assume I could accurately describe Judy — she was simply too special for words. I gave her a final kiss, held her hand, and looked into her eyes as she took her last breath. I was the last person she saw. Our son, Michael, was holding her other hand. She loved him so much.” Judy will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. Her gentle spirit and kind heart touched everyone who knew her. While she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on through the love she shared and the lives she influenced. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at St. Johns Family Funeral Home on Saturday, April 25th from 2-4 pm.
