In Loving Memory Jeaberth Torres-Santiago 11/27/1979 - 9/11/2025 Jeaberth Torres-Santiago, 45, of St. Augustine, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025. Born on November 11, 1979, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, she was the cherished daughter of Alberto Torres and Jeannette Santiago. At the age of 10, she moved with her family to St. Augustine, where she attended and graduated from The Florida School for the Deaf and Blind. She later pursued her passion for cooking at First Coast Technical College, studying culinary arts. Jeaberth went on to build a fulfilling career as a sous chef at World Golf Village, where her skills and dedication left a lasting impression on colleagues and friends. Beyond her professional life, Jeaberth treasured spending time with her family, enjoyed fishing, and had a special love for collecting Betty Boop memorabilia. She will be remembered for her warm heart, joyful spirit, and the love she shared with those closest to her. She is survived by her loving mother, Jeannette Santiago; stepfather, Juan Melecio; father, Alberto Torres; brother, Bertito Torres; niece, Leannette Torres; and many beloved cousins, aunts, and uncles. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 19, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. at St. Johns Family Funeral Home, followed by a service from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Angel Izquierdo. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Florida School for the Deaf and Blind in Jeaberth’s memory. Jeaberth’s life was one of love, family, and resilience, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
