Harold Clark Worsham

Harold Clark Worsham September 15, 1937 - September 22, 2012 Clark was born and raised in Powhatan, Va. His first job was as a messenger with the Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad (later CSX). He worked his way up through the ranks and retired as Engineer in the Road and Bridge Dept, where he negotiated with as many as 9 states for projects. Eventually he transferred to the Huntington W.va. office then on to Jacksonville, Fla. He was awarded the title of Distinguished West Virginian by the Governor of W.va. for the excellent and much appreciated work he had done with the state. Clark retired after 42 yrs of service with the railroad. Clark served 8 yrs with the National Guard. In high school he lettered in Baseball, Basketball and Football. He coached Little League baseball and football for 5 yrs, winning many titles. He was a Jaycee, and a member of the American Legion. He was always active in some sort of community service. After retiring, he enjoyed travel with his wife and most of all, spending time with his children and grandchildren, especially camping. Clark will be always in the hearts of those who loved him and who he loved along with many friends and family both far and near. Clark passed peacefully at his home in Elkton, Florida. He is survived by his wife of 54 yrs, Patty and his children --- Harold Clark Worsham, jr (Yogi) and his sons --- Matthew and his wife Angelica, Archer and David, all four of whom are serving our country in the Air Force, and his youngest son Kirk; Donna Jean Wade (Jeana), her husband, Mike and her children, Gauge, Emily, and Derek; Laura Colleen Newman of Tarzana, Calif and her children Mitt and Binni; Charles Addison Worsham (Chad) of Elkton, Fla and his boys Addison and Craig. He was very proud to be the loving Great Grandfather of 3 girls- Kinzey, Bella and Alyssa and two boys - Josiah and Micah ... He is also survived by his brother Nelson of Barboursville, W. Va. and his sister Dot Frayser of Powhatan, Va. There will be no public service, only a private family celebration of his life in both Florida and Va.
