Frank & Tabiatha "Frank & Tab" Caudill

It is with our deepest sorrow that we inform you that Franklin and Tabiatha Caudill have set their final sail. Tab passed away from injuries sustained in an automobile accident that happened late evening on March 9, 2024. She called Frank home March 13, 2024. A true and honorable love story. They were born 1977 in Wilkesboro, NC. Both being the middle child and "Black Sheep" of the family. A true love story blossomed in 1992; a type of romance that that even romeo and juliet would envy. At the very young age of 18 and 17 they welcomed their first daughter in 1995. No matter the odds that were against them, no matter the trials and tribulations they endured; they still remained dedicated to giving their children better lives and to live in prosperity. In 2001, they decided it was time for new beginnings. With everything that fit inside of a Mustang and Nissan pickup, they moved their family to FL for a fresh start. Upon arrival it did not take long for Florida to welcome them with open arms. Frank and Tab were well known in their community for their generosity! Frank has worked in demolition, land clearing, and owned his own lawn and tree removal business. Don't let this big, mean exterior fool you. Frank is a true gentleman who always lent a helping hand to anyone in need. He always knew what to say and gave the best advice. He was an honorable man with a huge heart! Everyone knows Mrs. Tab, she managed The Kangaroo for nearly 14 years. Tabiatha knew no strangers! You would not enter her store without hearing her voice travel across the room! She always knew how to make you laugh and smile! She was extremely outgoing and full of life. Tabiatha was always the life of the party, but despite her flamboyant personality, that woman feared absolutely nothing. She was truly the definition of a ride or die. The love that Franklin and Tabiatha caudill shared was truly one of a kind and a blessing to witness. They always remained hopelessly devoted to one another and yet everyone else around them at the same time! The love that they shared prospered into a beautiful family. Tabiatha and Frank's children and grandchildren were their pride and joy! But, it didnt stop there; They created a family for their children that wasn't bound by blood! Bringing everyone together for a good time whether that be shooting guns, fishing, riding four-wheelers and motorcycles. Tabiatha and Franklin Caudill shared a love story that was a true blessing to witness. They will whole-heartedly be missed by every lives they have touched! Frank and Tab were preceded in death by Tab's parents, Franklin and Vertie Mae Porter. They are survived by daughters, Kristin Caudill of St. Augustine, Kandice Caudill of Jacksonville, Kassie Caudill of Hastings, Angel Hawkins of Jacksonville; a son, Devon Hudgins of Hastings; grandchildren, Gannon Jacob, Freyja Mae, Kya Marie, Klementine Lucylle, Eden Ozzelyn and many other extended family members. Private services will be held. St. Johns Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
