Frank Clark

Frank Clark December 13, 1946 - May 23, 2016 Frank Joseph Clark, 69, St. Augustine, passed away May 23, 2016 at Flagler Hospital after a brief illness, surrounded by his family. Frank was born in The Bronx, NY, raised his family in Sound Beach, LI, and resided in St. Augustine for the past 13 years. Frank was a lifelong craftsman, designing and building kitchens and baths throughout Long Island. He currently was working as a facilities manager at Fortis University, and spent his time golfing and enjoying his family. Frank was a veteran of the U.S. Army, proudly serving his country with the C Company MP Batallion during the Vietnam War. Frank was a very active member of the Port Jefferson Lions Club, continuing his service with the St. Augustine Lions Club where he was honored as a Melvin Jones Fellow, and most recently was named a lifetime member of LCI, and a Grand Lion at the Florida Lions Foundation for the Blind. Frank was also an active member of the Cathedral Parish faith community. Above all; Frank was an amazing grandfather, devoted husband, cherished father, loving brother, proud Godfather (in some cases, happily self-appointed) to his nieces and nephews, and a beloved and valued friend to all. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Diane Clark, St. Augustine; children, Paul Anthony Clark (Dena), Middle Island, NY, Christopher Clark (Traci), St. Augustine, Diane Clark Mullin (Fredric), Wantagh, NY; two sisters, Cathy Clark Orofino (Joseph), Farmingdale, NY, Celey Clark (John Manley), Washingtonville, NY; and six grandchildren, CJ Clark, William Mullin, Joseph Mullin, Andy Clark, Francis Mullin, and Freddy Mullin. Funeral mass will be celebrated 1:00 p.m. Friday May 27, 2016 at the Cathedral Basilica. A visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Thursday May 26, 2016 at St. Johns Family Funeral with the Vigil service beginning at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Augustine Lions Foundation; 235 State Road 207, Unit 3B; St. Augustine FL 32084. Vigil and burial services will be at held in New York at a still to be determined time. St. Johns Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
