Esperanza Barona Serafin, born on October 21, 1955, to Rocio Barona Jimenez and Teodoro Delgado Moreno, left this world surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and devotion. A remarkable woman, Esperanza moved from Spain to America when she married Charlie Serafin. She bravely left her family behind to start a new chapter in her life. A proud mother of twin daughters, Rocio Truitt and Raquel Serafin, she embraced motherhood with an open heart and an unwavering spirit. Esperanza was a fantastic cook and loved to shower her family with delicious meals, creating memories around the dining table that will be cherished forever. She had a passion for interior decorating and transformed spaces into beautiful havens, a reflection of her vibrant personality. With a profound love for plants, she nurtured not just her home but also the lives of those around her, bringing beauty and joy into their worlds. She will be remembered not only for the love she gave to her family and friends, but also for the devotion she had to her treasured furry companions-her dog Lady, her cat Popi, and her grand-dog Benji. They brought her endless comfort and love. Her love for travel took her to many places, with her home town Sevilla, Spain and California being her favorites. The beach was her sanctuary, where she found solace and joy in the sun, pelicans and waves, never missing an opportunity to share these moments with her family. A woman of deep faith, Esperanza held a profound love for God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, sharing her beliefs and values openly with everyone she encountered, ensuring that her family honored their faith together. She would continually say we are nothing without God. She was incredibly generous and caring, always willing to give selflessly to anyone in need. A conversationalist at heart, she never met a stranger; her warmth and charm made everyone feel welcome and loved. Her fantastic sense of humor and outgoing nature brought laughter and light to every gathering, and she was known for her flirtatious charm. Esperanza loved her family so much and shared a special bond with her siblings, including her sisters Rocio Delgado-Barona and Antonia Delgado-Barona, her brothers Theodoro Delgado Barona, and Paco Delgado Barona and her brother-in-law, Juan Carlos Zamora and sister-in-law Aurora Rodriquez Caballero. She loved her grand daughter, Bella Mia Serafin so very much. She held a deep love for her nephews, Carlito Bernal Delgado, Jesús Granada Delgado, Teodoro Delgado Rodríguez, and Álvaro Zamora Delgado and they will forever cherish her memory. She loved her nephews children; Gabriella, Julia and Blanca Bernal Carrero and Alejandro Granado Sepulveda. She also adored her son-in-law, Steven Truitt. Together, they will carry her spirit forward, celebrating the vivacious life she lived. Esperanza loved life and always gave thanks for everything life gave her. She did not only live life, she savored enjoying every moment, especially next to her loved ones. As we celebrate the life of Esperanza Barona Serafin, her family invites all who knew her to remember the joy, love, and faith she shared with the world.
