Donald E Moll January 4, 1939 - August 4, 2016 Donald Eugene Moll, 77, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2016 in St. Augustine, FL with his wife Joyce Moll by his side. Don was born on January 4, 1939 in Waueson, Ohio to Harvey and Clara Moll. He was the youngest of four, his oldest sister Joan Ziegler (Jack), then Norma Greiser (Orval), and his brother Stan Moll (Ruth). He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joyce Moll, his daughter Linda Moll Ford (Jody Cowart), son Glenn Moll, Bubba Ford and Amy Craft Moll, his grandchildren Kristi Ford Schuler (Stefan), Christopher Ford (Lori Anne), and great-granddaughter Abbey Schuler. Don is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey & Clara Moll, and his two grandsons, Ryan Ford and Alex Moll. He grew up in rural Ohio and moved to Crescent City, FL with his parents at the age of 17, where he met and married his wife Joyce Easterling Moll. They had their first home together in Green Cove Springs and later moved to St. Augustine, where they resided for 53 years. He worked at Bozard Ford and later worked at North Florida Lincoln-Mercury, where he was the parts manager for 37 years. Don served as a member, and also as President, of the Orlando Region Parts Club for many years. Don and Joyce were very involved in the community and with the church, serving as a Sunday School teacher at Calvary Baptist Church where he was well known. He also served as a Deacon and Usher at Anastasia Baptist Church and was a member of the choir. He enjoyed church functions and loved watching his children and grandchildren take part in many church activities. Don was patient, kind, and had a subtle sense of humor that touched everyone that knew him. He had a gentle spirit and was a huge support system for everyone in his family. He had a strong passion for wood working, home projects and gardening. Don had a love for basketball that he shared with family and friends. He loved his grandchildren and enjoyed being involved in their school projects, sports, and church activities. Visitation will be Friday, August 12, 2016, 5-7 pm at St. Johns Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at Anastasia Baptist Church Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at Craig Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the care of St. Johns Family Funeral Home.
