Clara Lee (Yerico) Emerick October 7, 1938 - November 29t, 2022 Clara Lee Emerick, 84, of Saint Augustine Florida, formerly from Wakemen and Lorian, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Riverside Cottages at the Shores in St. Augustine, Florida. Clara was born in Lorain on October 7, 1938 to the late Anthony and Margaret (née McPhie) Yerico. Clara graduated from Lorain High School in 1956. She worked at Loran National Bank in Lorain. She moved with her family to Wakeman in 1972 where she worked at the Norwalk Bargain Center and The Stokley-Van Camp as a supervisor. She Moved to St. Augustine, Florida in 1984, where she graduated from culinary school and worked as a chef at the Center for Living for 25 years. Clara was an avid slot player and loved going to Las Vegas, Biloxi, and New Orleans with her husband and siblings. She loved to cook and enjoyed spending time with her family during the holidays as well as spending time with her kids, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Clara is survived by her brother Charles Yerico, daughters, Barb Risner, Danielle Emerick (Buddy), Michelle Marks, Toni Couts (Jeff), and son, Scott Emerick (Sandy); grandchildren, Anthony Emerick, Jennifer Emerick (Brian), Valerie Emerick, Steve Risner (Erica), Jason Risner, Amanda Marks, AriAnne Marks, Courtney Emerick, Taylor Emerick, Jenna Holly, Jessica Holly, Jason Holly and Brittany Goolesby (Ricky); Great Grandchildren; Daniel Chappel, Izik Chappel, Izzy Risner, Joey Risner, Chase Martin, Abigail Martin, Mallory Perkins, Hunter Emerick, Ava Houser, Tyler Houser, Logan Houser, Maddie Houser, Aviona Evans, Annabella Robinson, Atlas Robinson, Zara Marks Clara was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Daniel Emerick; and parents, Anthony and Margaret Yerico, Sisters Margaret Gall and Ann Furci, Son Jeffery Emerick, Grandson’s Toby Houser and Mitchell Marks, and Son in Law Ricky Lee Marks.
