Ginger (Virginia) Schill Still November 7, 1944 - March 21, 2018 Ginger (Virginia) Anne Schill Still age 73, of Kingsley Lake, Florida, passed away peacefully at a hospital in Clearwater, FL on the first full day of spring, March 21, 2018. She was surrounded by family in presence and spirit as she accepted Jesus’ invitation to change her address. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Jacksonville, FL where she spent most of her life. For the last 16 years she lived in her house of dreams, Casa de Suenos, on Kingsley Lake. She was the perfect match and soulmate of her husband of 46 years, Rick Still, with whom she raised a family of two daughters and a son. She loved her family passionately, but Jesus was the driving force of her life. Her “Born Again Birthday” (as she called it!) was 42 years ago on July 12. For all of those years she attended a Wednesday morning Bible study at the home of Criss Faulkenbury of Neptune Beach. She worshipped every Sunday (worship was her FAVORITE!!!) at Grace Community Fellowship of Starke, FL. She prayed for thousands in her lifetime…prayers that resulted in saved marriages, lives turned, babies being born, and physical healings without number. She had a presence and a laugh that both filled and brightened whatever room she graced. She loved people of all ages and from all walks of life. She NEVER met a stranger. In fact, if you were lucky enough to be her waitress, you’d probably end up with an invitation to the lake!! But FOR SURE you would get on her prayer list! Gift giving was her specialty. She could always spot just the right thing that would make the receiver’s eyes light up. She adored flowers, and each morning would fill and freshen multiple vases around her house from the beds surrounding her home. She lived in awe, wonder, and appreciation of God’s creation. She had a keen eye for beauty and precision and used it to decorate and tweak many, many people’s homes,transforming them into places of rest and beauty. Above all else, she was the quintessential wife, Mama, Gigi, sister, and aunt. She is survived by her husband Rick, daughters, Heather Still (Josiah & Kingsley) and Megan Greenleaf (Gabe, husband, & Justin, Caitlyn, Anna, and Valerie) and her son, Matthew Still. Her sisters Helen Gregory (Alex), Joni Clark (Tommy), Nancy Morgan (Tom) and brothers Danny (Veronica) and David (Shannon). She was a vibrant, sparkling, exuberant soul who was loved even more than she will be missed. A memorial service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, March 31, 2018, at Grace Community Fellowship, 2446 NE State Road 16, Starke, FL 32091 with Pastor Greg Pusateri officiating.
