Damien Thomas Harvey

It is with an extremely heavy, heavy, heart that the family of Damien Thomas Harvey (19 years old) announce his passing on October 12, 2023. Damien was a son, brother, cousin, nephew, and grandson. Damien spent almost all his life in St. Augustine, Florida where he attended Pedro Menendez High school. Damien was a very determined and hard worker. At a young age, he started his own little lawn mowing business. From there, he worked at Romano’s Italian restaurant, Amici’s Restaurant, Beaver Toyota and Bee Electric. It was with Bee Electric, Damien decided he wanted to be an electrician. Along with being an extremely hard worker, Damien had the biggest heart and was always volunteering to help friends and family. He would come home with out shirts as he would have given it away to someone who needed it more. Damien enjoyed “hanging out” at Treaty Park where you would find him at the skate ramps. Damien was always an active individual, whether it was surfing, skateboarding, jet-skiing, and video-gaming, or riding a motorcycle. There were many days, where he would rise crack of dawn to catch waves with his cousin/’big brother’, David, and surf the mornings away. Damien loved to work-out at the gym with his father. David (his cousin) was like his big brother. Considering these early morning activities, Damien really did love his sleep. Damien loved his family and was adored by them. When you would greet him, he would give the longest and best hug ever. Damien was protective of his little sister, Kris. He stood up for her when it was needed, and they were always having a lot of fun together at the beach and pool. Damien was lover of metal music, Damien Traveled at a young age to help in back stages of concerts and Bobby and Damien enjoyed the days at “Rockville” festivals along with close family members. Damien became quite famous with the Rockville community as he had the coolest mohawk ever. He was so famous that he was featured in a magazine crowd surfing. Damien also enjoyed some extended family trips to New Jersey, Pennsylvania and even Disney in his younger years. On these trips he saw snow for the first time, mountains, and was shocked to learn that there were pump attendants who put the gas in the car in NJ. Damien is survived by his father and S/O: Robert “Bobby” Harvey and, Lajolla Molitor, sister: Kris Harvey, cousin/(big- brother): David Kraus, birth mother: Natalie Geraci, Grandparents: Robert and Kathleen Harvey, Aunts: Barbara Beal, Christine Brandenburg, Susan Harvey, Bethlyn Thornton and many cousins. Celebration of life will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at St. Johns Family Funeral Home.
