Biography

Gordon Toy, age 67, of St. Augustine, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2012. Born and raised in Miami, FL, he served his country in the U.S. Army and completed two tours of duty in Vietnam. Gordon later graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and earned a Masters Degree from Nova University. He taught elementary school for more than 30 years in the Miami-Dade County Public School System.
