Biography

William H. “Bill” Cauthen, age 72, died on March 2, 2010 at his home in St. Augustine. He was born and grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and was a longtime resident of Mt. Dora and Eustis, before moving to St. Augustine last year. Bill served in the National Guard in both Georgia and Alabama, and had also served in the Air Force Reserve. He was a talented salesman and had worked in corrugated paper sales for many years. He was and his wife Dottie were married on March 5, 1993, on board the riverboat “Admiral” in Clearwater, FL. Bill was a Mason and a Shriner, and was a member of the Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Dottie Cauthen and a daughter, Amber Cauthen, both of St. Augustine.

Private services will be held.

St. Johns Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
